From Monday 17 May patients will be able to get Covid Vaccine passport

either on NHS APP or by ringing 119 to get an NHS Letter.
Demonstrating COVID-19 status

Individuals in England who have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine can now get proof of their vaccination details and demonstrate their COVID-19 status for international travel using the NHS COVID Pass.

There are 3 options to demonstrate COVID-19 status: via the NHS App (if you have full access to the App and are registered at a GP surgery), through NHS.UK and by letter from the 119 telephone service.

Recording overseas vaccinations
Currently there is not a central mechanism for capturing details of overseas COVID-19 vaccines, and only vaccines delivered in the UK can be accepted as evidence for UK COVID certification/ the NHS COVID Pass.

A technical solution to support the recording of vaccinations overseas in the National Immunisation Management System (NIMS) is in development, and we will provide an update as soon as possible.

Patients should be told that at this time, only vaccines delivered in the UK will count towards UK COVID certification and that the NHS is working on a solution.

NHS COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

We continue to contact patients who are eligible to be vaccinated at our GP-led vaccination centre. When you are invited to book in with us, we will not be able to confirm the date for your second appointment but you will need to have this at the same vaccination centre and you can be assured that we will arrange this date with you nearer the time.

If you had your first vaccination with us and have not yet been contacted for your second dose, we will be in touch with you as soon as we have slots available.

If you are aged 18 or over you will be contacted by the national booking service. However, if you would prefer to be vaccinated at our GP-led centre, you can contact us to arrange this.

Covid-19 Advice

If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough and/or a high temperature and/or anosmia (a loss of or change in your normal sense of smell or taste), you are advised to stay at home for 7 days. Do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP practice. If you live with other people, they should also stay at home for at least 14 days, to avoid spreading the infection outside the home.

If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.

Only call 111 direct if you are advised to do so by the online service or cannot go online.

For the latest COVID-19 advice please visit www.nhs.uk/coronavirus.

If you have been advised to isolate either directly or by following Government or Public Health advice, and require an isolation note for your employer this can be found at 111.nhs.uk/isolation-note/.

For those self isolating in line with guidance, as well as those who have been advised to observe a 12 week period of social distancing due to being in an at risk group then you may wish to download and fill in the following document to provide to your employer RMG Distancing Letter.
